About
From the Australian Outback to the Atacama Desert, The Kalahari to the Sahara, The Himalayas to the Rockies, The Alps to the Andes.
I’ve trekked the world’s toughest trails and drank the world’s finest wine. Watched the sun rise over the world’s rooftop and stood at earth’s lowest point. Flew into the world’s most dangerous airport, sailed the world’s roughest seas and cycled the world’s most dangerous road. Seen the big 5 in Africa, whales in Whalers Bay and Komodo dragons on Komodo Island.
I crossed the Ganges, Mekong, Colorado, Mississippi, Rio Grande, Zambezi, Jordan, Amazon & Nile rivers. Swam in the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian and Antarctic Oceans, The Tasman, Flores, South China, Aegean, Mediterranean and Dead Seas, Halong Bay and the Bay of Bengal. Went skydiving, bungee jumping, hang gliding, ice climbing, tubing, surfing, sailing, sandboarding, heli-boarding, hydro boarding, dog mushing, great white cage diving, white water rafting, black water rafting, scuba diving and spelunking. I was healed by a shaman, taught English to villagers and got schooled by the Dalai Lama.
I’ve eaten balut, crocodile, kangaroo, mountain yak, buffalo, zebra, kudu, warthog, springbok, crickets, oryx, reindeer, llama, durian, kopi luwak coffee and a mopane worm. Had Swiss cheese in Switzerland, Vienna sausage in Vienna, Belgium Waffles in Belgium, Brussel sprouts in Brussels, French fries in France, Chilies in Chile, Greek yogurt in Greece, an Irish Coffee in Ireland, A Manhattan in Manhattan and a Singapore Sling in Singapore. I rode The Canyons, Park City, Brian Head, Breckenridge, Telluride, Taos, Aspen, Vail, Jackson Hole, Big Sky, Banff, Whistler, Lake Louis and Chamonix. Saw the eruption of a volcano and the calving of a glacier, charmed a cobra in Africa and wooed a penguin in Antarctica, befriended canines in South America and felines in Asia. I Left my heart in San Francisco and lost my mind at Burning Man. Saw the Cubs at Wrigley and the Chiefs in Arrowhead. Did Saint Patrick’s day in Ireland, rang in New Year’s in New York, and spent Easter Sunday on Easter Island.Border crossings by land, air, sea, snowboard, foot and thumb..

I’ve lived, laughed, loved and learned and chose the byways over highways, but more, much more than this, I did it my way.
