Ode to Joy

Ode to Joy-

I’m sitting on top of a mountain in the New Zealand Southern Alps right now. On other side of a deep valley you can safely hear the cracking of massive, office building size, ice shelves and see the cloud of a small avalanche racing down the mountain. With the exception of a few clouds hovering over the tallest peaks it’s a perfectly blue sky. I’m surrounded by glaciers and snow blanketed hillsides, but my shoes are off and I’m only wearing my Cubs t-shirt and shorts. I’m rockin’ to Ode to Joy on my iPod. Today is a good day.
